This weekend I trained all the pugs. From Wilson 1 year old with moderate dysplacia, with him I've started his fondation training and a few jumps too, I'm very happy with his debut, he is doing great. Then we had Frimousse who has lost her sight from just one eye after a perforation 4 years ago, but it doesn't stop her from jumping very well as long as the sun is not in her face. Next, we had the grandad of the gang Gordon at 8 1/2 and I guess the smart one because if I don't jump first he doesn't jump, so funny. And we finished with Pepito and Pancho, we worked on a few specific excersises like "Stay and motivation", then a small sequence to work on the wrap and quick front crosses.
In a week time we have the Balearic championships, both Pancho and Pepito are going to compete and I'm sure my boys will do me proud as usual.
We are 5 sporty pugs and we want to show the world that we can also be a sporty breed of dogs. We are full of life and enjoy everyday as much as we can with our mom.
"Pugs" have a bad reputation as a fat and lazy breed and many people think that we can only jump on the sofa... It's about time the world see pugs as a healthy and active breed of dogs...
