"Pugs" have a bad reputation as a fat and lazy breed and many people think that we can only jump on the sofa... It's about time the world see pugs as a healthy and active breed of dogs...
Our agility titles: Balearic champion 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. National champion in 2011 and 2012, finished second due to injury in 2013. Represented Spain at the World Agility Open in 2011, 2012 where we make the penthalon finales each year and in 2014 we were picked as a wild card and once again made the finales of the penthalon 14th overall and biathlon 23rd, I'm so proud of my Pancho for all his hard work....Yes a Pug at the World championships!!! In 2013 we also represented España at EO in Belgium and won 4 rosettes at the International Agility Festival in grade 6 with a 4th, 8th and 9th place and 1st place at the IFCS qualifier at Oxford.
Top 3 on every class at the Jersey Agility festival and made the small final. Pepito and Wilson have won titles too at trials like the Fab Show in Oxford UK in 2013 and team events with Pancho and many podiums at the Jersay agility festival too. I'm so proud of my babies, I really can't ask for more. OUR MOTO "PUGS RULE

FCI Alicante 2013

This weekend was like last weekend's competiton for me... Pressure on my shoulders!!! After winning the Balearic championships for the 3rd year, Pancho had to get his last FCI point to be able to go to the Spanish championships in Madrid in a month time...
We had to travel to Alicante to compete. It wasn't a straight forward trip, we had to fly to Valencia and then drive 185km to get to our destination.
Saturday's result was what we needed!!! with 2 brilliant clear rounds and got us our last needed point. We won grade 2 &3 in cat mini/midi and came 3rd over all :)
Sunday was as good as the day before with 2 clear rounds and again Panpan won grade 2 &3 cat mini/midi and came1st over all too!!! We also won the 2 day over all classification, I'm so proud of my baby boy for all his effort despite the very bad weather.
I'm so happy we have now the 4 points we needed to qualify for the championships and I'm a very lucky mom to have such a brilliant little trooper!!

Balearic agility championships 2013

This trial was one of our important trial for 2013 so we had to perform as best as we could because Pancho is the title holder of Balearic champion cat 30/40cm since 2011...
The event was help at Felanitx and the judge Marie Douglas from the UK. As well as running the individual round with Pancho I had the honor to run the team event with Pepito, Pancho and Dolça.
Saturday we finished 3rd over all with the best time too by 3 seconds to the first Border Collie!!
On sunday we finished 6th over all but to Pancho's defence I injured my leg again and I couldn't run to match his speed.
I was so proud of my Pancho for winning the cat 30/40cm for the 3rd year and to top it all up we came 3rd team!!!

Competition FCI in Ibiza

After our last trial in the FCI league we were missing a full point (a clear agility and juming course on the same day) to qualify for the Spanish championships. So we had to go to Ibiza again to try to get it...
On saturday we had a clear agility round but a fault at the weave of the jumping!! We won the over all classification but not our final point...
So sunday we had to do well and we did the oposite LOL with 2 eliminations!! The courses were very hard and I was very much outside my confort zone especially at the agility round... At the jumping Pancho came out of the tunnel like a rocket and I couldn't stop him on time to change direction.
So what now... our next and only hope for our final point is Madrid on the 27th and 28th of April... Fingers and pwas crossed :)

FCI agility trial Ibiza

We went to Ibiza for 3 days for a FCI agility trial. I was so excited because I always really enjoy those trials. The judges have good courses and the caliber of the competitors is very good.

On friday we finished 6th with a bad contact at the dog walk and a clear round at the jumping.
On saturday we ran 2 clear rounds and finished second over all!! at just 3 seconds of the winner a Border Collie :)

Sunday the same story with a second place and again at just 2 seconds from the same Border Collie, pancho was brilliant and I'm so lucky to have him :D The judge asked me who did I train with?? I smiled and said "Dawn Weaver" his smiled and said "Very good"... :D Thank you Dawn!!!!!!!

We have now 3 points for the Spanish championships and we are missing one, so next time we need to make sure we ahve 2 clear round the smae day... no pressure!!
Enjoy :)

Competition in Menorca

A week after our seminar with Dawn Weaver we went to Menorca for an Open trial.
The work we did at the seminar did help me a great deal and I was pleased. Saturday was a good day with 2 rounds at 5 points each due to some bad rushed wraps. Pancho was great and we won the day. On sunday we had a bad contact at the agility round and an elimination at the jumping... Still can't believe I made such a bad mistake, but never mind you learn form them... Pancho was brilliant and to my surprise we finished 3rd over all!!
This is the video of our 4 runs, enjoy.
