We are 5 sporty pugs and we want to show the world that we can also be a sporty breed of dogs. We are full of life and enjoy everyday as much as we can with our mom.
"Pugs" have a bad reputation as a fat and lazy breed and many people think that we can only jump on the sofa... It's about time the world see pugs as a healthy and active breed of dogs... Our agility titles: Balearic champion 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. National champion in 2011 and 2012, finished second due to injury in 2013. Represented Spain at the World Agility Open in 2011, 2012 where we make the penthalon finales each year and in 2014 we were picked as a wild card and once again made the finales of the penthalon 14th overall and biathlon 23rd, I'm so proud of my Pancho for all his hard work....Yes a Pug at the World championships!!! In 2013 we also represented España at EO in Belgium and won 4 rosettes at the International Agility Festival in grade 6 with a 4th, 8th and 9th place and 1st place at the IFCS qualifier at Oxford. Top 3 on every class at the Jersey Agility festival and made the small final. Pepito and Wilson have won titles too at trials like the Fab Show in Oxford UK in 2013 and team events with Pancho and many podiums at the Jersay agility festival too. I'm so proud of my babies, I really can't ask for more. OUR MOTO "PUGS RULE

This weekend we went to Madrid for a national competition at Arganda del Rey. Saturday's agility round was good and fast, one pole down and Pancho didn't touch the dog walk. The jumping was good in a way but an elimination at the weave costed us a podium. I have been having problems for a while now with Pancho's weave. He misses poles or doesn't enter correctly, it's costing us dearly and we need to correct the problem as soon as possible.
Sunday's agility round was a good one but again the weave entance was the problem, I really liked the way Pancho did the see saw and people commented on that, and at the jumping we had a pole down and yes...... the weave again :(
Over all I'm please of our weekend, I need to correct a few thinks but I'm happy with my black baby :)
This weekend was the 3rd Balearic championships in Majorca. More than 40 dogs came from Ibiza, Menorca and Majorca to compete at this event. Pepito ran in the category 30cm and Pancho in the category 40cm, I felt very much under pressure to keep Pancho's title in the category mini/midi from 2011.
Saturday Pancho had a clear round at the agility with the 2nd best time over all just 2.45 seconds behind a Border Collie and at the jumping 5 points at the weave for not entering correctly. Pepito had a pole at the agility round and a clear run at the jumping. On sunday Pancho had a clear round at the agility round with again the 2nd best time over all at just 0.25 seconds!!! from again a Border Collie. Had a pole at the jumping, Pepito had 5 points at the jumping for coming out of the tunnel and an elimination at the agility round because HIS MAMA MADE HIM jump the wrong jump.... I feel terrible "I'm sorry Pepito and I apologize..." The podiums from both days and the over all championships podium Video of some of our runs and a few pictures, enjoy :) Next week we are off to Madrid for a national competition, very much looking forward to go with my Pancho...
This weekend I trained all the pugs. From Wilson 1 year old with moderate dysplacia, with him I've started his fondation training and a few jumps too, I'm very happy with his debut, he is doing great. Then we had Frimousse who has lost her sight from just one eye after a perforation 4 years ago, but it doesn't stop her from jumping very well as long as the sun is not in her face. Next, we had the grandad of the gang Gordon at 8 1/2 and I guess the smart one because if I don't jump first he doesn't jump, so funny. And we finished with Pepito and Pancho, we worked on a few specific excersises like "Stay and motivation", then a small sequence to work on the wrap and quick front crosses.
In a week time we have the Balearic championships, both Pancho and Pepito are going to compete and I'm sure my boys will do me proud as usual.
